Listing Policies

These Listing Policies outline the guidelines and requirements for businesses listing their profiles and products/services on the Make it in the Emirates B2B platform (“Platform”).

By creating a listing, you agree to comply with these policies, our Terms and Conditions, and all applicable laws and regulations.

 

Eligibility for Listing

  • UAE-Based Businesses: Only businesses legally registered and operating within the United Arab Emirates are eligible to create listings on the Platform.

  • B2B Focus: Listings should primarily target other businesses for potential partnerships, sourcing, or supply relationships. Consumer-focused listings may be removed at our discretion.

  • Accurate Representation: You must accurately represent your business, its products, services, and capabilities. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.

 

Listing Content Guidelines

  • Completeness and Accuracy: Provide complete and accurate information in all required fields of your listing. Incomplete or inaccurate listings may be rejected or removed.

  • Clear and Concise Descriptions: Use clear, concise, and professional language to describe your business, products, or services. Highlight key features, specifications, and benefits relevant to other businesses.

  • Relevant Categorization: Choose the most appropriate categories and subcategories for your listing to ensure it reaches the relevant audience. Miscategorization may result in listing removal.

  • High-Quality Visuals: Use high-resolution and relevant images and videos to showcase your business, facilities, products, or services. Ensure that you have the necessary rights to use these visuals. Blurry, low-quality, or misleading visuals are not permitted.

  • Contact Information: Provide accurate and up-to-date contact information to allow other businesses to reach you directly.

  • No Prohibited Content: Listings must not contain any content that is:

    • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, or otherwise objectionable

    • Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others

    • Obscene, pornographic, or sexually suggestive

    • Discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic

    • Misleading or deceptive

    • Spam or unsolicited commercial communications

    • Promoting illegal activities or substances

  • Language: The primary language for listings should be English or Arabic. Listings in other languages may be subject to review or require translation.

 

Listing Standards

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional tone and presentation in your listings. Avoid excessive use of capitalization, special characters, or irrelevant keywords.

  • Respectful Communication: All communication initiated through your listing should be respectful and professional.

  • Compliance with Laws: Your listings must comply with all applicable laws and regulations within the UAE.

 

Listing Review and Approval

  • Review Process: We reserve the right to review all submitted listings before they are made public on the Platform.

  • Approval Discretion: We have the sole discretion to approve or reject any listing that does not comply with these Listing Policies or our Terms and Conditions.

  • Notification: We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if your listing is rejected and provide the reason for rejection. You may be given an opportunity to revise your listing to meet our guidelines.

 

Listing Management

  • Accuracy and Updates: You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of your listing and for promptly updating any changes to your information, products, or services.

  • Listing Removal/Deactivation: We reserve the right to remove or deactivate any listing at any time, with or without notice, if it violates these Listing Policies or our Terms and Conditions, or if we deem it to be inappropriate for the Platform.

  • User Removal: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts associated with repeated or severe violations of these Listing Policies.

 

Listing Fees (If Applicable)

  • Free and Premium Options: We may offer different listing tiers, including free and premium options with varying features and visibility.

  • Payment Terms: If you choose a premium listing option, you agree to the applicable fees and payment terms as outlined on our pricing page.

  • Refunds: Fees for premium listings are generally non-refundable, except as expressly stated in our refund policy.

 

Reporting Violations

  • User Reporting: We encourage users to report any listings that they believe violate these Listing Policies. You can typically do this through a reporting mechanism on the Platform.

  • Investigation: We will investigate reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include editing, removing the listing, or suspending the user’s account.

While we strive to maintain a high standard of listings on the Platform, we do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legitimacy of any listed business, product, or service. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and verifications before engaging in any business transactions.

 

By listing your business on Make it in the Emirates, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Listing Policies. We may update these policies from time to time, and your continued listing on the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any revisions. Please review these policies periodically for any changes.
